Christmas films on TV, Christmas decoration in each window of each shop.... Yes, it is really coming.
I've always loved Christmas as is the time of the year that I get presents: it's my birthday and Christmas Day, and, if I am lucky, I also have a present from "El día de los reyes magos".
However, apart from this, I love the lovely athmosphere that is around people ( although I have to study for my January exams). I love all kind of decoration: the lights, the tree... And I love gathering with my family because it's the only time of the year when we can really be ALL together.
Some people don't like Christmas and all its things maybe because of something that happened in the past during Christmas or just because they have more work than during all the year.I don't know if other people live this time of the year as I live it. People have other ways to celebrate it, but, from my point of view, all of them are good ways.
Christmas can have different meanings for each of us: something to do with religion; a time to get a rest; a time to be with all your family; or even non-sense time.
I don't really know what it means for me, I just know that I feel quite happy when this time comes and I celebrate it with my family and friends ( even though since last year I have to study really hard during these days).

I love Christmas too, but thats really awesome that your birthday is on Christmas too! I'm really glad that my exams are done before Christmas since I can just relax with my family then. I celebrate with just my immediate family, but it is still really nice to be together. I love the snow, making christmas cookies, and ice skating around Christmas time! It is so fun for everyone!
ResponderEliminarHappy almost birthday (and Merry Christmas too)! I am so excited for Christmas break, I don't have any final exams so I get to go home this Saturday! Does your family have a lot of Christmas traditions?
ResponderEliminarI really envy you because I used to have my exams before Christmas when I was at highschool, but now I really wish to have them before as well.
ResponderEliminarIt doesn't snow here in Valencia, so I have to go far from my town to see it. In fact I've never seen snowing anI would really like to see it, at least once in my life! hahaha.
Thank you Katie! Merry Christmas for both of you!
Well... I don't know which traditions you've got there, but in my family we usually spend Christmas Eve with my mother's sisters and my cousins, and Christmas Day with my father's sisters and my cousins. We usually eat prawns(lots and lots of them) and "turrón", which is a typical chocolate from here. Have you heard about it?
There's people who also celebrates the Second Day of Christmas(26th), but I don't.
What do you both usually do??
